One of the best games the Oakland Athletics have had this year last night at McCafee Park in Oakland.

In the 9th Inning the game was tied 4-4 with the bases loaded. With a strike out and a risky double play involving home plate the A’s were able to get out of it.

In the 10th inning Ellis hit a single to complete a cycle. Only the 6th player in Oakland history to get a cycle. After another hit Chavez came into bat. With a crack of the bat Chavez ends the game with a right field home run, it was his first walk off home run of his career.

Oakland plays Boston again tonight at 7:05 Pacific.
